The partnerships for Integrated Services and Social Development (I-SERVE), Inc. was established on March 20, 2006 and is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-government, non-profit organization.
I-SERVE, Inc., was established primarily to respond to
the growing demands for resolution of resettlement issues, massive
poverty prevailing in the urban communities and urban sector’s
dis-empowerment.
As a
non-government organization (NGO), I-SERVE consistently provide services
needed by local organizations in the form of skills training programs,
political education seminars, local, provincial and national
consultations, extension work, advocacy and project development and
facilitation for socio-economic and livelihood projects.
I-SERVE is committed to the development of self-reliant and autonomous people's organizations, federating these formations into a national federation of community based organizations and linking these formation to like-minded groupings for coalition work.
In more
general terms, I-SERVE assists in the formulation and implementation of
comprehensive human settlement program, developing models and prototypes
or urban development program, building capabilities of the communities
and facilitating communities' access to democratized resources.
